Mumbai, August 22, 2025: Aditya Birla World Academy (Tardeo) clinched the Boys U16 Division II crown in the Dream Sports MSSA Inter-School Football Tournament, edging Jamnabai Narsee (Vile Parle) 1-0 in the final, with Aakarsh Gubbi netting the winner.
Thakur Public (Kandivali) secured third place, defeating St. Lawrence (Borivali) 2-0 through goals from Arnav Singh and Arsh Shetty.
In the Girls U16 Division II, Carmel of St. Joseph (Malad) thrashed Ryan International ICSE (Malad) 5-0, powered by a Lavanya Patil hat-trick and a Gouri Roy brace. Nahar International (Chandivali) beat Podar International CBSE (Powai) 2-0 via Ekvira Painoli’s double, while Ryan International CBSE (Kandivali) downed Gokuldham (Goregaon) 2-0. J.B. Petit (Fort) and Gopal Sharma International (Powai) played out a goalless draw.
