Indian cricket star Smriti Mandhana has postponed her wedding with music composer Palash Muchhal after her father, Srinivas Mandhana, suffered a heart attack during pre-wedding preparations in Sangli, Maharashtra. He was immediately rushed to a private hospital and is currently stable and under observation.
The ceremony was scheduled for November 23, with close family, friends, and several teammates expected to attend. Wedding decorations at the venue have now been removed as the event has been indefinitely postponed.
Mandhana, who shares a very close bond with her father, has decided to wait until he fully recovers before resuming wedding festivities. The family has requested privacy during this difficult time.
