Kamboj highlighted Saif’s deep Kolkata and cricketing roots, calling his association a natural extension of the franchise’s spirit and culture.
Entering with a purse of ₹1.39 crore, the Season 1 champions built a balanced squad through smart, value-driven picks. Saroj Paramanik emerged as their biggest signing at ₹20.60 lakh, while all-rounder Bhavesh Pawar was retained for ₹11.05 lakh. Key additions like Krishna Gawli, Pavan Kene, Mahesh Nangude, and Vivek Shelar further bolstered the team’s T10 firepower.
Aksha Kamboj emphasised unity, discipline, and opportunity as the core of the franchise’s philosophy, stating that Tiigers of Kolkata aim to create a platform where young, street-bred cricketers can turn dreams into reality.
