Majhi Mumbai created history by picking Vijay Pawle for a record ₹32.50 lakh — the highest bid in ISPL history. Chennai Singams used their RTM card to retain Ketan Mhatre for ₹26.40 lakh, making him the second-costliest player.
Sixteen-year-old Rudra Patil became the youngest signing of the auction, picked by Srinagar Ke Veer at his base price of ₹3 lakh. Falcon Risers Hyderabad emerged as the highest spenders with a total outlay of ₹1.47 crore.
With the addition of two new teams — Ahmedabad Lions and Delhi Superheroes — Season 3 is set to be the most competitive yet. The tournament will run from January 9 to February 6, 2026, in Surat.
Cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar and other ISPL Core Committee members were present during the event. ISPL also announced a Porsche 911 as the MVP award for Season 3.
