The National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM) has launched FinKnowledge – Quiz for Securities Market Entities (QSME) 2026, India’s first quiz competition exclusively designed for professionals from the securities market ecosystem. The initiative aims to promote continuous learning, strengthen industry knowledge, and enhance financial literacy among market participants.
The inaugural edition saw enthusiastic participation from several leading institutions, including NSE, BSE, NSDL, MCX, NCDEX, AMFI, CRISIL, CAMS, SHCIL, and other prominent securities market entities.
Addressing the gathering, NISM Director Shri Sashi Krishnan emphasised the importance of continuous upskilling and professional development in India’s rapidly evolving capital markets. He said initiatives like FinKnowledge encourage knowledge-sharing and help strengthen the overall securities market ecosystem.
The Association of Registered Investment Advisers (ARIA) emerged as the winner of the inaugural competition, taking home the first prize of ₹1.5 lakh. Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) secured the second prize of ₹1 lakh, while the Association of Mutual Funds in India (AMFI) claimed the third prize of ₹60,000.
The event also featured interactions with NISM Director Shri Sashi Krishnan, quiz master Meghashyam Shirodkar, and representatives from the winning organisations, including ARIA board members Lovaii Navlakhi and Suresh Sadagopan, along with Anish Pillai, Director of the Association of Registered Research Analyst of India (ARRAI).
With the successful launch of FinKnowledge QSME 2026, NISM has introduced a unique platform to encourage knowledge excellence and lifelong learning among professionals in India’s securities market.
