GamingCon Bharat 2026 to Return With Third Edition in Mumbai

Mumbai, August 11, 2026: GamingCon Bharat will return for its third edition on October 17-18, 2026, at the Bombay Exhibition Centre (NESCO), Mumbai, with organisers expecting more than 20,000 visitors.

The event, which attracted over 15,000 gaming enthusiasts during its previous edition, will continue its partnership with the Indian Game Publishers & Developers Association (IGPDA) and receive support from the Government of Maharashtra.

A major addition to the 2026 edition is MeepleCon, described by organisers as India’s largest board game convention. The partnership will bring board game publishers, designers, hobbyists and tabletop gaming communities into the GamingCon Bharat experience.

The festival will feature free-play zones for PC, console and mobile games, esports tournaments and IndieVerse, showcasing independent Indian game studios. The Level Up Conference will bring together developers, publishers, creators, investors, industry leaders and policymakers.

Visitors can also expect cosplay events, merchandise and collectibles, creator interactions, live entertainment and immersive fan experiences.

Vikas Vij, Managing Director of IDEX Events and Founder of GamingCon Bharat, said the event aims to create a platform that not only entertains but also contributes to the growth of India’s gaming ecosystem.

Kaustubh Dhavse, Chief Advisor to the Chief Minister, Government of Maharashtra, said GamingCon Bharat reflects the energy and creative potential of India’s gaming industry.

Vishal Gondal, Founder of nCore Games and Founding Member of IGPDA, said the event would serve as a platform for India’s gaming ecosystem to build and expand its global presence.
