Gem Aromatics IPO to Open on August 19; Price Band ₹309–₹325 per Share

Gem Aromatics Limited will launch its Initial Public Offering (IPO) on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, closing on Thursday, August 21, 2025. The price band is set at ₹309–₹325 per equity share with a face value of ₹2. Investors can bid for a minimum of 46 shares and in multiples thereafter.

The IPO consists of a fresh issue of equity shares worth up to ₹175 crore and an Offer for Sale of up to 85 lakh shares by promoters and selling shareholders. Proceeds from the fresh issue will be used for business expansion and general corporate purposes. Motilal Oswal Investment Advisors Limited is the sole book-running lead manager, while KFin Technologies Limited is the registrar.

Gem Aromatics is a leading Indian manufacturer of specialty ingredients, including essential oils, aroma chemicals, and value-added derivatives, with over two decades of experience. Its products are used in oral care, cosmetics, nutraceuticals, pharmaceuticals, wellness, pain management, and personal care. The company is among the largest processors in India for DMO, clove oil, eugenol, and eucalyptus oil, and holds significant market shares in DMO (12%) and eugenol (65%) production.

The company has long-term relationships with marquee domestic and global clients, including Colgate-Palmolive India, Dabur India, Patanjali Ayurved, S H Kelkar & Company, Rosari Biotech, Symrise, doTERRA, Ventos do Brasil, and Anhui Houtian Spices. In FY 2025, it supplied products to 225 domestic customers and 44 global customers across 18 countries in the US, Asia, Africa, and Australia.

Gem Aromatics operates three manufacturing facilities located in Budaun (Uttar Pradesh), Silvassa (Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu), and Dahej (Gujarat). Its operating revenue rose 11.38% to ₹503.95 crore in FY 2025 from ₹452.45 crore in FY 2024, while net profit increased 6.55% to ₹53.38 crore from ₹50.10 crore. The IPO will follow the book-building process, with up to 50% reserved for Qualified Institutional Buyers, at least 15% for Non-Institutional Investors, and at least 35% for Retail Investors.
