Mumbai, August 21, 2025: Reliance Foundation has announced the opening of applications for its 2025-26 scholarship programme, one of India’s largest higher education initiatives. This year, 5,000 merit-cum-means undergraduate scholarships of up to ₹2 lakh each and 100 postgraduate scholarships of up to ₹6 lakh each will be awarded. The last date to apply is October 4, 2025.
The scholarships are open to first-year UG and PG students across India. While the undergraduate scholarships support academic aspirations across disciplines, the postgraduate scholarships will focus on excellence in Engineering, Technology, Energy, and Life Sciences, nurturing future leaders in critical fields.
Beyond financial aid, selected scholars will also receive mentorship, industry exposure, leadership training, and community engagement opportunities, ensuring holistic development. The initiative is part of Reliance Foundation’s commitment to award 50,000 scholarships over 10 years, announced by Chairperson Mrs. Nita Ambani in 2022 on the 90th birth anniversary of Shri Dhirubhai Ambani.
Reliance has been supporting meritorious students for over 29 years, inspired by Shri Dhirubhai Ambani’s vision that investing in youth drives national progress. So far, more than 28,000 scholarships have been awarded. Alumni of the Reliance Foundation Scholarships have gone on to achieve academic and professional success while contributing to India’s growth.
