Bengaluru, April 11, 2026: PV Sindhu and Harmanpreet Kaur came together in a unique crossover of sport and fitness as PUMA partnered with HYROX to host a high-energy event in Bengaluru.
Sindhu stepped beyond badminton to compete in HYROX’s challenging mixed relay format, which combines eight 1 km runs with eight intense workout stations, testing endurance, strength, and stamina. Calling it a completely different experience, Sindhu highlighted how the race pushed her limits and offered a new dimension to athletic performance.
Meanwhile, Indian cricket captain Harmanpreet Kaur cheered from the sidelines, praising Sindhu’s effort and expressing interest in participating in future editions. The event marked a rare intersection of cricket and badminton, showcasing how athletes are exploring fitness beyond their primary sports.
The Bengaluru edition witnessed over 8,200 participants, reflecting a surge in interest toward competitive fitness in India. Organizers reported a significant rise in participation, underlining HYROX’s growing popularity since its India debut in 2025.
With PUMA as the official global partner, the collaboration aims to expand HYROX’s footprint in India and promote structured, performance-driven fitness. The initiative signals a shift toward hybrid training formats, attracting both elite athletes and everyday fitness enthusiasts.
