With a growing presence in over 125 cities and more than 1.4 million drivers earning through the platform, Uber is enhancing its service with innovative tools designed specifically for Indian riders.

Wait & Save (Live in 10+ cities)
Riders with flexible schedules can enjoy discounted fares by waiting slightly longer for their rides. A cost-saving alternative to priority pickup options, this feature helps users choose between speed and savings.
Metro Ticketing via ONDC (Live in Delhi; expanding to Chennai & Mumbai)
In collaboration with ONDC, Uber users can now book metro tickets directly through the app. After strong adoption in Delhi, this seamless metro integration will soon be available in Chennai and Mumbai.
Price Lock (Coming December 2025)
Regular commuters can lock in fares for frequently traveled routes by paying a nominal fee, offering protection from surge pricing during peak hours or traffic jams.

Uber for Seniors (Launching July 2025)
A simplified app interface tailored for elderly riders, featuring bigger buttons, fewer steps, and real-time trip tracking for families. This inclusive feature empowers senior citizens to ride confidently and independently.
Courier XL (Live in Delhi NCR & Mumbai)
An upgrade from Uber’s existing parcel service, Courier XL allows delivery of heavy items up to 750 kg – perfect for moving furniture, appliances, or bulk shipments.
Uber Pet (Live in Delhi, Mumbai & Bengaluru)
A pet-friendly ride option for cat and dog owners, available via advance booking. Drivers are notified beforehand to ensure a comfortable journey for both pets and passengers.

Airport Priority Access (Live in Pune & Hyderabad; coming to Mumbai & Noida)
Uber’s most streamlined airport pickup experience, allowing passengers to walk straight from the terminal to their waiting ride, reducing post-flight wait time and hassle.
Uber XL Plus (Live in Bengaluru, Chennai & Hyderabad)
Designed for group travel, extra luggage, or added comfort, this feature guarantees larger vehicles like Toyota Innova for a spacious and stress-free ride.
