Jaipur, February 6, 2026: England wrapped up the Mixed Disability T20I series in emphatic fashion, defeating India by nine wickets in the fifth and final match in Jaipur to secure a 4–1 series victory.
Batting first, India failed to gain momentum and were bowled out for 125 in 19.2 overs. Early wickets put the hosts under pressure, with Wasim Iqbal departing cheaply. Akash Singh top-scored with a fighting 51 off 43 balls, striking four boundaries and two sixes to hold the innings together. Captain Ravindra Sante added a quick 33 off 26 deliveries, but regular breakthroughs by England’s bowlers prevented India from building partnerships. Farooq Mohammad and Liam O’Brien led a disciplined attack as India’s lower order offered little resistance.
England chased the modest target with ease, reaching 128 for 1 in just 12.4 overs. Jon Gale anchored the innings with a composed unbeaten 53 off 36 balls, while wicketkeeper-batter Angus Garant Brown produced a blistering knock of 62 from 34 deliveries, hammering five fours and five sixes. The only breakthrough for India came when Brown was dismissed at 102, but by then the result was beyond doubt.
Josh Price stayed not out as England crossed the line comfortably with more than seven overs to spare.
The comprehensive victory highlighted England’s dominance across the series, as they outplayed India in batting, bowling and fielding to clinch the five-match contest 4–1 in convincing style.
