AIPA & Punjab Pickleball Association Boost Grassroots Movement in Punjab Schools

The All India Pickleball Association (AIPA), in collaboration with the Punjab Pickleball Association (PPA), is accelerating the growth of pickleball among young students by bringing the sport directly into schools across Punjab. Led by PPA President Karan Singh Dhillon, the initiative is fast gaining statewide momentum.

In recent months, more than 50 schools have hosted pickleball demonstration sessions, introducing thousands of children to the sport. Five schools have already completed full integration with dedicated pickleball courts, with plans to develop complete infrastructure every time a new school joins the program.

Encouraged by the rising interest, AIPA and PPA are set to expand the campaign to over 200 schools in the coming year. Alongside the expansion, the associations have also supported 20 promising young players from Punjab, with a continued focus on nurturing emerging talent.

AIPA President Arvind Prabhoo praised Punjab’s effort as a model for grassroots sports development, while PPA Secretary Viramjeet Singh emphasized the goal of taking pickleball to every school, ensuring opportunities for students to learn, train, and compete at higher levels.
