India, December 12, 2025:
Japanese sportswear brand ASICS celebrated 17 years of association with the Tata Mumbai Marathon (TMM) by unveiling its latest performance running shoe, GEL-NIMBUS™ 28, for the 2026 season. The launch took place at the ASICS store on Linking Road, Mumbai, in the presence of actor, entrepreneur and fitness enthusiast Dino Morea.
As the official sportswear partner for TMM 2026, ASICS introduced the GEL-NIMBUS™ 28 as its flagship neutral cushioning shoe, featuring cloud-like comfort and enhanced stability. The new model is over 20 grams lighter than its predecessor, offering a smoother and more effortless running experience while retaining premium cushioning.
Alongside the footwear, ASICS also unveiled the TMM 2026 limited-edition apparel collection, including a graphic T-shirt inspired by Mumbai’s Coastal Road, 2-in-1 running shorts, mesh cap and ankle socks—designed to keep runners cool, dry and focused from training to race day.
Speaking at the event, Rajat Khurana, Managing Director, ASICS India & South Asia, said the brand remains committed to supporting India’s fast-growing running culture through science-led innovation and meaningful community engagement.
Anil Singh, Managing Director, Procam International, highlighted ASICS’ integral role in enriching the marathon experience over the years.
