Capri Sports Launches Warriorz FC, Mentored by Aditi Chauhan

Mumbai, 22 July 2025 — Capri Sports has officially launched Warriorz FC, a new chapter for women’s football in Mumbai. Formerly known as Rudra FC, last season’s MFA Women’s Premier League runners-up, the team will now be mentored by ex-India captain and football legend Aditi Chauhan.

With this move, Capri Sports makes its debut in Indian football, aiming to uplift women’s football in Mumbai and across India. The club plans to combine elite training, top coaches, and sports science to help Warriorz FC win the MFA Women’s Premier League title and earn a spot in the Indian Women’s League 1.

“Capri Sports investing in women’s football shows real commitment to building better systems,” said Aditi Chauhan. “Our goal is to nurture champions and future leaders.”

Apurv Gupta, Director – Contact Sports, Capri Sports, added, “Warriorz FC isn’t just a team; it’s about transforming the women’s football ecosystem in India, starting at the grassroots.”

Jinisha Sharma, Director at Capri Sports, shared, “Football is the next big frontier. With Aditi Chauhan’s leadership, Warriorz FC can help shape the future of Indian women’s football.”
