Mumbai, September 15, 2025: The Dream Sports MSSA 81st Inter School Badminton Tournament ended on a high note, showcasing young badminton talent across Mumbai. Arya Vidya Mandir, Bandra West, clinched the U16 Girls Team title with a 2-1 win over Smt. RSB Arya Vidya Mandir (Juhu), while R.A.U.B.S. English High School secured the U16 Boys Team crown with a 2-0 victory against Thakur Public School.
In the individual events, Akshat Raisurana (Bombay International School) and Khushi Pahwa (Ryan International CBSE, Kandivali) claimed the U16 singles titles. The U14 winners were Mayank Jayapalsinh Rajput (Thane Police School) and Anvisha Pramod Ghorpade (Sane Guruji English Medium School, Dadar). At the U12 level, Advait Pawar (Rustomjee Cambridge, Virar) and Nitika Gautam (Thakur Public School) emerged champions.
The youngest champions were Yohaan Nair (Sri Sri Ravishankar Vidya Mandir, Mulund), who triumphed in the Boys U10 final, and Kavya Saravanakumar (CNM & N D Parekh ICSE School), who lifted the Girls U10 crown. The tournament underlined Mumbai’s strong grassroots badminton talent and celebrated the city’s rising stars.
