Ticket sales for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 will open today at 6:45 PM IST, with entry prices starting as low as ₹100 in India and LKR 1000 in Sri Lanka. The ICC aims to make the tournament more accessible than ever, offering historically low ticket rates for the first phase of sales.
The 10th edition of the T20 World Cup will be co-hosted by India and Sri Lanka from 7 February to 8 March 2026, featuring 20 teams and 55 matches across eight venues. The opening match will see Pakistan face the Netherlands in Colombo, followed by marquee clashes including India vs USA in Mumbai.
With more than two million tickets available in Phase I, the ICC says the focus is on affordability and expanding in-stadia access to fans worldwide. ICC CEO Sanjog Gupta stated that the goal is to make the event the most inclusive and accessible T20 World Cup to date.
India’s BCCI and Sri Lanka Cricket have also expressed readiness to welcome fans with upgraded facilities and strong match-day experiences. Major stadiums across both countries— including Ahmedabad, Chennai, Mumbai, Kolkata and Colombo—will host the month-long cricket spectacle.
