The flawless hosting placed India among the world’s top sporting destinations.

Sports icons hailed India’s exceptional organisation and improved accessibility. Deepa Malik called it “the biggest-ever celebration of para sport in India,” while coach Amit Saroha said, “This is the best-organised international event in India till date,” adding that the nation is now ready to host the Paralympics.

Government initiatives like the Target Olympic Podium Scheme (TOPS) and Khelo India played a key role, with 15 TOPS and one Khelo India athlete among the medallists. Sumit Antil, who set a Championship Record in javelin F64, credited these schemes for providing world-class facilities and exposure.

Global stars including Fleur Jong (Netherlands), Markus Rehm (Germany) and Greg Stewart (Canada) praised India’s warmth, hospitality, and seamless management — solidifying the country’s place on the global map of inclusive and accessible sports.
