Vizag, Jaipur, Chennai and Delhi announced as host cities; fans await thrilling kabaddi action featuring top stars like Pawan Sehrawat, Naveen Kumar and Mohammadreza Shadloui
Mumbai, July 31, 2025: The much-awaited Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) is all set to return for its 12th season from August 29, 2025, promising fans across India a spectacular kabaddi spectacle. The upcoming season will unfold across four vibrant cities – Vizag, Jaipur, Chennai and Delhi – bringing the excitement of live kabaddi to thousands of passionate supporters.
The new season begins with a high-voltage clash as Telugu Titans take on Tamil Thalaivas in Vizag’s Rajiv Gandhi Indoor Stadium on Friday, August 29. The opening day will also feature Bengaluru Bulls locking horns with Puneri Paltan. On Saturday, Telugu Titans will return to face UP Yoddhas, followed by U Mumba squaring off against Gujarat Giants. Super Sunday promises more thrilling matches, with Tamil Thalaivas playing U Mumba and reigning champions Haryana Steelers launching their title defence against Bengal Warriorz.
This marks a historic return of PKL action to Vizag after a seven-year gap since 2018, reigniting the city’s long-standing kabaddi legacy. From September 12, the action moves to Jaipur’s SMS Indoor Stadium, where Jaipur Pink Panthers will clash with Bengaluru Bulls, followed by Tamil Thalaivas vs Bengal Warriorz. Jaipur, known as the Pink City, notably hosted the PKL’s 1000th match in 2023.
Chennai’s SDAT Multipurpose Indoor Stadium will welcome the kabaddi caravan from September 29, featuring exciting fixtures like UP Yoddhas vs Gujarat Giants and Dabang Delhi K.C. vs Haryana Steelers. The final phase of the league stage kicks off in Delhi on October 13 at the Thyagaraj Sports Complex, where Patna Pirates face Haryana Steelers and U Mumba take on UP Yoddhas. To keep fans glued to the action, the league will close the group stages with thrilling triple-headers.
