Vizag, August 27, 2025: The Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) will celebrate the legendary raider Pardeep Narwal in a special felicitation ceremony on August 29, just before the Season 12 opener in Visakhapatnam. Fondly called the Dubki King, Pardeep retired earlier this year after becoming the all-time leading raid points scorer in PKL history with 1,801 raid points.
Narwal’s career has been filled with record-breaking moments, including his iconic eight-point raid in Season 5 and three consecutive titles with Patna Pirates. He began his PKL journey with Bengaluru Bulls, went on to become a superstar with Patna, represented UP Yoddhas, and finally returned to Bengaluru Bulls in Season 11 – ending his career where it began.
The felicitation will be held at Vishwanadh Sports Club, Vizag in the presence of fans, players, and dignitaries. PKL Season 12 will then kick off with Telugu Titans vs Tamil Thalaivas, followed by Bengaluru Bulls vs Puneri Paltan. Matches will be broadcast live on Star Sports and streamed on JioHotstar, with tickets available on District by Zomato.
