World Pickleball Championship Series India 2025 Begins Tomorrow in Bengaluru

The World Pickleball Championship (WPC) Series India 2025 powered by Skechers kicks off tomorrow in Bengaluru, bringing four days of high-energy action to the Top Spin Tennis Academy from 20th to 23rd November. Returning for its 2nd Edition after a successful debut in Mumbai, the event has attracted 304 participants from across the country, making it one of India’s biggest pickleball platforms.

Organized by the Karnataka State Pickleball Association (KSPA) and the All India Pickleball Association (AIPA), the championship features a wide range of categories across multiple age groups — 35+, 19+, Under 18, Under 14, 50+, and 60+. Players will compete in singles, doubles, and mixed doubles formats, ensuring inclusivity for beginners, intermediate, advanced, and elite-level athletes.

A major highlight of the event is its ₹15,00,000 prize pool, placing the WPC Series among India’s highest-rewarding pickleball tournaments. Fans can expect top-level matchups featuring India’s standout players such as Vrushali Thakre, Sonu Kumar Vishwakarma, Vanshik Kapadia, Ritam Chawla, Anuja Maheshwari, Alayka Ebrahim, Rohit Patil, Anjali Pol, Avinash Kumar, and Aarish Aga Choubey.

Speaking ahead of the event, AIPA President Arvind Prabhoo described the tournament as a celebration of India’s growing pickleball spirit, while WPC Founder Jan Papi highlighted India’s rising presence in the global circuit. KSPA Secretary Rajath Kankar expressed pride in hosting the championship, reaffirming Karnataka’s commitment to promoting emerging sports.
