Mumbai, October 21, 2025: Zydus Pinkathon, India’s biggest women’s run, celebrated Diwali with the Diwali Pahat Saree Run at Mumbai’s Worli Promenade. Over 100 women draped in sarees joined Pinkathon founder Milind Soman and Ankita Konwar for a 5KM festive run blending fitness, culture, and community.
Milind Soman said the initiative promotes inclusivity and encourages women to embrace fitness in any attire, adding that the saree run has become a proud Pinkathon tradition. The event also aligns with Zydus Lifesciences’ Easiest Exam campaign, spreading awareness about monthly self-breast exams for early detection of breast cancer.
As a prelude to the 10th Zydus Mumbai Pinkathon on December 21 at BKC, the run highlighted Pinkathon’s mission of empowering women through fitness and preventive health awareness. Founded in 2012, Pinkathon has grown into a nationwide movement promoting women’s health, inclusivity, and community spirit.
