After a remarkable debut at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo earlier this year, VinFast Auto India, the Indian arm of global EV pioneer VinFast, has officially started accepting bookings for its premium electric SUVs — the VF 7 and VF 6 — across India.
These eagerly awaited models will be launched for public sale in August 2025, in line with the inauguration of VinFast’s state-of-the-art manufacturing plant in Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu. Deliveries will follow soon after.
Indian customers can now reserve their VinFast electric SUV either through VinFast showrooms or via the official website VinFastAuto.in, with a fully refundable booking amount of INR 21,000.
Built to deliver reliable and sustainable mobility, the VF 7 and VF 6 are engineered for Indian roads and daily driving needs. With impressive range on a single charge, these EVs promise worry-free commutes, intercity trips, and weekend adventures — all while offering advanced technology, comfort, and performance.
Both models will be assembled locally at VinFast’s new facility in Tamil Nadu, underscoring the brand’s commitment to India as a key market and future EV manufacturing hub.

To ensure a seamless EV ownership experience, VinFast has signed agreements with 13 dealer partners to set up 32 dealerships across 27 cities, forming a robust 3S (Sales, Service, Spares) ecosystem. Dealerships will open in key urban and emerging EV markets, including Delhi, Gurugram, Noida, Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune, Jaipur, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Cochin, Bhubaneshwar, Trivandrum, Chandigarh, Lucknow, Coimbatore, Surat, Calicut, Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada, Shimla, Agra, Jhansi, Gwalior, Vapi, Baroda, and Goa.
VinFast has also partnered with RoadGrid, myTVS, and Global Assure to establish a dependable, nationwide charging and after-sales service network. These partnerships will provide real-time charging access, AI-powered diagnostics, and integrated digital support for a smooth customer experience.
Reinforcing its sustainability vision, VinFast has joined hands with BatX Energies, an Indian clean-tech leader in battery recycling and rare metal recovery.
