Mumbai, September 15, 2025: Kia India, one of the country’s leading mass-premium automobile brands, has announced that it will pass on the complete benefit of the recent Goods and Services Tax (GST) reduction to customers. The price cuts, effective from 22nd September 2025, will apply across the company’s entire ICE portfolio, making Kia vehicles more affordable and accessible.
Announcing the move, Mr. Gwanggu Lee, Managing Director & CEO, Kia India, welcomed the Government of India’s reforms, calling the GST reduction a progressive step to boost affordability and revive automotive sector growth. He emphasized Kia’s commitment to passing on the full benefit to customers, ensuring stronger consumer sentiment during the festive season.
The company detailed significant price reductions across models, with benefits of up to ₹1.64 lakh on Sonet, ₹1.86 lakh on Syros, ₹75,000 on Seltos, ₹48,000 on Carens, ₹78,000 on Carens Clavis, and a massive ₹4.48 lakh on Carnival. Kia believes this will drive demand and encourage customers to explore its diverse lineup.
Founded in 2017 with its manufacturing facility in Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh, Kia India has rapidly grown to become a key player in the Indian automotive market.
