The Kalyanaraman family’s annual Navaratri celebration in Thrissur on 27th September 2025 brought together some of the biggest names from Bollywood and South Indian cinema, including Akshay Kumar, Nagarjuna & Amala, Karishma Kapoor, Tabu, Malaika Arora, Genelia Deshmukh, Sreeleela, Kalyani Priyadarshan, Dileep & Kavya Madhavan, Jayasurya, Shriya Pilgaonkar, and many more. Kalyan Jewellers’ regional brand ambassadors Ritabhari Chakraborty, Pooja Sawant and Kinjal Rajpriya also added to the star-studded evening.
This year’s theme paid homage to the cosmic tale of Samudra Manthan, symbolising the eternal struggle between good and evil. A majestic recreation of Kailash Parvat, a sacred Shivling, and a striking display of the Sapta Matrikas highlighted the divine narrative of transformation and balance. The traditional Bommai Kolu—a multi-tiered display of dolls—portrayed mythological tales, daily life, and the divine forms of Goddesses Saraswati, Parvati, and Lakshmi, offering guests a journey from the material to the spiritual.
Seamlessly blending cinema, tradition, and spirituality, the private Navaratri evening reflected the Kalyanaraman family’s legacy of hosting intimate yet spectacular celebrations. Rooted in devotion and cultural storytelling, the event showcased how Kalyan Jewellers continues to unite heritage with modernity through its ethos and presence across India, the Middle East, and the USA.
