Kia India has begun production of the all-new Kia Seltos at its advanced manufacturing facility in Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh, marking an important milestone for the company in the mid-SUV segment. The new-generation Seltos, designed specifically for evolving Indian consumer needs, features a larger body, updated design language and enhanced interior space. Kia has confirmed that prices for the new model will be announced on 2 January 2026.
Built on Kia’s new K3 platform, the SUV focuses on stronger structural rigidity, improved ride comfort and refined driving stability. The updated design follows Kia’s Opposites United philosophy, highlighted by a bold digital tiger-face grille, Ice Cube LED headlamps and sporty alloy wheels that enhance its road presence. The cabin features a panoramic digital display, Bose audio system and upgraded connectivity through Kia Connect 2.0 with over-the-air updates and wireless smartphone integration.
Safety has been strengthened with a standard 24-feature safety package and Level-2 ADAS driver-assistance technologies. The new Seltos will be offered with three engine options across multiple trims and transmission choices, giving customers greater flexibility. Kia India says the commencement of production reflects its long-term commitment to India and its aim to further consolidate leadership in the growing mid-SUV market.
