Henry Patten and Harri Heliovaara successfully defended their Wimbledon men’s doubles title, defeating Marcelo Arévalo and Mate Pavić 7-6(4), 7-6(3) in a closely contested final on Centre Court.
The match was decided by two tie-breaks, with Patten and Heliovaara producing their best tennis under pressure to secure their second Wimbledon crown together and third Grand Slam title as a pair, following victories at Wimbledon 2024 and the Australian Open 2025.
The triumph also saw Patten become the first British man in the Open Era to win the Wimbledon men’s doubles title twice. The champions celebrated emotionally with the Centre Court crowd after sealing victory.
Arévalo and Pavić praised the winners in the post-match ceremony, acknowledging that Patten and Heliovaara were the stronger team in the decisive moments while congratulating them on an outstanding season.
In the wheelchair events, Britain’s Alfie Hewett and Gordon Reid came from a set down to defeat Gustavo Fernández and Tokito Oda 2-6, 6-1, 6-2, claiming their seventh Wimbledon men’s wheelchair doubles title together.
Japan’s Yui Kamiji also made history by winning her first Wimbledon women’s wheelchair singles title with a dominant 6-0, 6-0 victory over six-time champion Diede de Groot.
