India Assures 10 Boxing Medals as All Boxers Storm into Commonwealth Games 2026 Finals

India enjoyed a dream day in boxing at the Commonwealth Games 2026 in Glasgow, with all 10 Indian boxers advancing to the finals after winning their respective semifinal bouts. The remarkable clean sweep guarantees the country at least 10 medals, with every finalist now set to compete for gold.

Olympic bronze medallist Lovlina Borgohain led the charge by securing her place in the women’s 75kg final with a confident performance. She was joined by a strong Indian contingent that dominated across multiple weight categories.

Among the men’s finalists are Sachin Siwach (55kg), Jadumani Singh (60kg), Hitesh (70kg), Ankush (80kg) and Narender Berwal (+90kg). On the women’s side, Preeti Pawar (51kg), Sakshi Choudhary (57kg), Sanju (60kg), Arundhati Choudhary (70kg) and Lovlina (75kg) all booked their spots in the title clashes.

The all-round success highlights India’s growing depth in boxing, with disciplined performances, sharp tactics and impressive consistency throughout the tournament. Several Indian boxers controlled their contests from the opening round, while others displayed composure under pressure to secure unanimous or split-decision victories.

With 10 finalists in action, India now has a golden opportunity to register one of its best-ever boxing performances at the Commonwealth Games. The medal bouts promise to be a major attraction as the Indian contingent looks to convert its dominant run into multiple gold medals and strengthen the nation’s overall medal tally in Glasgow.
