Navi Mumbai: Class XII student Tithi Sanghavi of Reliance Foundation School, Koparkhairane, has qualified for the CBSE National Athletics Championship 2026–27 after winning gold medals in two events at the CBSE Cluster Athletics Meet.
Tithi emerged champion in both the Under-19 Girls’ Shot Put and Under-19 Girls’ Discus Throw, securing double gold at the cluster level and earning her place at the national championship.
The achievement adds to an impressive year for the young athlete. She had earlier qualified for the state level after winning the Under-19 Girls’ Shot Put and finishing second in the Under-18 Girls’ Discus Throw at the Thane District Amateur Athletics Association Championship 2026.
Another RFSKK athlete, Siddhant Salian, also performed strongly at the CBSE Cluster Athletics Meet 2026–27. The Class XII student secured third position in the Under-19 Boys’ 400-metre race.
Tithi has continued to balance her academic responsibilities with intensive athletics training, demonstrating discipline and commitment to competitive sport. Her performances highlight the school’s efforts to support students in pursuing sporting ambitions alongside academics.
The school’s structured coaching and regular training programmes provide athletes with opportunities to develop their skills and compete at district, state and national levels.
Tithi will now represent Reliance Foundation School, Koparkhairane, at the CBSE National Athletics Championship 2026–27, where she will compete against young athletes from across the country.
The school congratulated both Tithi and Siddhant on their achievements and wished Tithi success at the national championship.
