Bengaluru, August 19, 2026: Tickets for Season 4 of the Tech Mahindra Global Chess League (GCL) are now available on BookMyShow, with Bengaluru set to host six global franchises from September 5 to 13 at The Lalit Ashok.
Defending champions Alpine APL Pipers, led by Magnus Carlsen, will return to defend their title. PBG Alaskan Knights feature Indian chess legend Viswanathan Anand and Arjun Erigaisi, while Ganges Grandmasters will have Ian Nepomniachtchi and Levon Aronian. Fyers American Gambits are led by 2026 Candidates winner Javokhir Sindarov and Season 2 MVP Nihal Sarin.
Early Bird tickets are priced at ₹349, offering access to one match and the Festival Arena. Premium tickets, priced at ₹2,999, provide access to all four matches of the day, along with the Festival Arena and Premium Lounge.
The Festival Arena will feature live screenings, commentary, fan experiences and food options, creating an immersive experience beyond the chessboards.
“GCL is built to be experienced live, and Bengaluru will give fans a chance to get much closer to the action,” said Gourav Rakshit, Commissioner, Global Chess League.
Season 4 marks GCL’s return to India after its Mumbai edition in 2025. Across nine days, six teams featuring Icons, Superstar Men, Superstar Women and Prodigies will compete in the league’s rapid, mixed-team format.
