Mumbai: The Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) has unveiled the official logo for the inaugural T20 Mumbai Women’s League, marking a significant step in strengthening women’s cricket in the city. The association also announced May 2, 2026, as the date for the player auction for both men’s and women’s tournaments.

The launch of the women’s league signals a structural shift in Mumbai’s cricketing ecosystem, aiming to provide a professional platform to identify and nurture emerging female talent. The inaugural edition will feature three teams, designed to ensure maximum match exposure and competitive intensity.

MCA President Ajinkya Naik stated that Mumbai continues to set benchmarks in cricket and the new league will help build a strong pathway for future women cricketers.
