Mumbai, June 11, 2026: Captain Shivam Dube produced a match-winning unbeaten knock to guide Arcs Andheri into the final of the Nuvama Private T20 Mumbai League 2026 with a five-wicket victory over Aakash Tigers Mumbai Western Suburbs in the first semi-final at the Wankhede Stadium on Thursday.
Chasing a target of 151, Andheri suffered an early setback when Musheer Khan was dismissed for a duck. Opener Divyaansh Sksena counterattacked with a brisk 34 off 16 balls, while Arjun Tendulkar contributed 13 as the pair added 41 runs for the second wicket.
The Tigers fought back through Shams Mulani, who removed both Tendulkar and Sksena, while Ajit Yadav struck twice in the 13th over to leave Andheri struggling at 92/5. However, Dube held his nerve and took control of the chase.
The skipper stitched together an unbeaten 59-run partnership with Gaurav Jathar (11 not out) and smashed 45 not out off just 26 deliveries, including five sixes and a four. His late onslaught ensured Andheri reached 151/5 in 18.3 overs, sealing victory with nine balls remaining.
Earlier, Aakash Tigers posted 150/7 after being put into bat. Captain Sarfaraz Khan led the scoring with 34 off 17 balls, while Jay Bista added 35. Ashutosh Ghagre starred with the ball for Andheri, claiming 2/21, while Arjun Tendulkar, Shivam Dube, Ajay Mishra, Musheer Khan and Prasun Singh picked up a wicket each.
Arcs Andheri will now await the winner of the second semi-final between North Mumbai Panthers and MSC Maratha Royals in Saturday’s title clash.
