USA cricketer Bodugum Akhilesh Reddy has been banned from all forms of cricket for eight years after an ICC Anti-Corruption Tribunal found him guilty of breaching three provisions of the ICC Anti-Corruption Code during the Abu Dhabi T10 2025 tournament in the UAE.
The suspension has been backdated to November 21, 2025, the date on which Reddy was provisionally suspended.
The Tribunal found Reddy guilty of attempting to fix or improperly influence matches during the tournament. He was also found guilty of encouraging another participant to engage in match-fixing activities, in violation of the ICC’s anti-corruption regulations.
In addition, the Tribunal ruled that Reddy obstructed the investigation by deleting data and messages from his mobile phone that could have been relevant to the ICC’s inquiry.
The Abu Dhabi T10 2025 competition was conducted under the anti-corruption oversight of the International Cricket Council (ICC), which had been appointed as the Designated Anti-Corruption Official (DACO) by the Emirates Cricket Board (ECB).
Following the Tribunal’s decision, Reddy will remain suspended from all cricket-related activities for eight years. The ICC has also released a redacted version of the Tribunal’s decision to protect the identities of witnesses and other third parties involved in the case.
The sanction underlines the ICC’s continued commitment to maintaining the integrity of the sport and taking strict action against corruption in cricket.
