Day 2 of the Butterfly TTSL Maharashtra 2026 witnessed dominant performances as Century Warriors and Phantom Stars registered emphatic victories, while Mumbai Mozartt bounced back strongly in Mumbai.
Century Warriors produced one of the most commanding displays of the tournament, thrashing Jolly Friends Sporting Club 18-9. Santosh Wakradkar set the tone with a clinical 3-0 win in the veterans’ category, and despite a brief fightback from Raegan Albuquerque in the men’s singles, Century Warriors maintained control throughout. Strong performances in junior and doubles categories, including standout contributions from Naisha Rewaskar, ensured a one-sided finish.
Defending champions Phantom Stars continued their impressive run, securing their second consecutive win by defeating NPV Smashers. Sanil Shetty led from the front with a dominant 3-0 victory in the men’s singles and later partnered with Shruti Amrute to win the mixed doubles convincingly. Veteran Onkar Jog also chipped in with a solid performance, helping seal another important win.
Mumbai Mozartt returned to winning ways with a convincing 17-10 victory over NPV Smashers. Their young duo of Ishan Khandekar and Divyanshi Bhowmick remained unbeaten in U-17 mixed doubles, while Aakarshan Yadav impressed with a 3-0 win in the cadet boys’ singles.
In other matches, Ping Panthers edged past PBG Pune Jaguars 15-12, while Bayside Spinners defeated Jolly Friends Sports Club by the same margin, wrapping up an action-packed day.
