Mumbai, May 4, 2026: The Maharashtra Pickleball Open 2026 concluded on a high note, with Arjun Singh and Aditya Singh emerging as champions in the Pro Men’s Doubles category after a thrilling three-set victory over Stavya Bhasin and Ammol. In the Pro Women’s Doubles final, Mihika Yadav and Snehal Patil delivered a dominant performance, securing a convincing straight-sets win.
Organised by the Maharashtra Pickleball Association (MPA) under the Indian Pickleball Association (IPA), the tournament witnessed massive participation, with over 1,000 players competing across three action-packed days. The event highlighted the rapid growth and popularity of pickleball in the state, drawing players from a wide age range of 8 to 60 years.
In the Pro Mixed Doubles category, Arjun Singh teamed up with Naomi Amalsadiwala to clinch the title after an intense three-set battle against Pearl Amalsadiwala and Stavya Bhasin. Other standout winners included Aahana Punjabi in Women’s Singles and Atharva Khisti in Men’s Singles.
MPA President Rahool N Kanal praised the tournament’s success, emphasizing the association’s vision to make Maharashtra a leading force in Indian pickleball. IPA President Suryaveer Singh Bhullar also lauded the seamless execution and growing ecosystem of the sport.
With over 750 members joining MPA within its first month, the association aims to expand pickleball across Tier-2 and Tier-3 districts, strengthening grassroots development and positioning Maharashtra as a national powerhouse in the sport.
