The young Indian side continued to dominate proceedings and doubled the lead in the 16th minute through captain Sweety Kujur, who calmly converted a field goal.

India maintained their attacking momentum after halftime and effectively sealed the contest in the 33rd minute when tournament top-scorer Nousheen Naz netted her 12th goal of the competition. Her clinical finish extended India’s lead to 3-0 and put the result beyond Korea’s reach.
