Mumbai, June 5: ARCS Andheri stormed to the top of the Nuvama Private T20 Mumbai League 2026 standings with a commanding nine-wicket victory over Eagle Thane Strikers at the Wankhede Stadium on Friday.
After opting to bat first, Eagle Thane Strikers struggled against a disciplined Andheri bowling attack and were bowled out for 129 in 20 overs. Sairaj Patil top-scored with 34, while Eknath Kerkar added 27. Off-spinner Prasoon Singh led the charge with three wickets, while captain Shivam Dube (2/19) and Ajay Mishra (2/13) provided crucial breakthroughs.
Chasing a modest target, ARCS Andheri made light work of the task thanks to a breathtaking knock from opener Divyaansh Sksena. The right-hander smashed an unbeaten 88 off just 39 deliveries, hammering 12 fours and four sixes. He raced to a 17-ball half-century, equalling the fastest fifty of the tournament, and dominated the chase from start to finish.
Ayush Jethwa contributed a steady 25 as the pair laid a solid foundation before Divyaansh finished the game in style. ARCS Andheri reached 130/1 in just 11.4 overs, sealing victory with a massive 50 balls to spare.
Earlier, Bandra Blasters registered their first win of the season with a four-wicket triumph over Triumph Knights Mumbai North East. Skipper Suved Parkar starred with another half-century, while Jay Jain remained unbeaten on 49 to guide the Blasters home.
